Hi, I'm Deborah. I'm a second year doc student in the Counseling Psychology department. I have been married for 10 years to my husband Matt, who is very awesome. I have two kids - Elijah, who is 13 and Brenley who is turning six in a few weeks. She just started kindergarten and I am at once excited and bereft. I grew up in Muncie and I know everyone hates it, but it has endeared itself to me and will always be home.

I hate chewing noises. I love video games. I don't like having pets. I was a teen mom. I have one tattoo. I've never had any piercings, not even my ears. I would wear stretchy pants every day if I thought I could get away with it. I won't watch movies more than one time. I'm allergic to cats. I used to be in a band in undergrad. I love to cook, and in a bizarre way, I like to do meal planning and grocery shopping as like, a relaxing fun thing (I'm realizing that sounds so weird as I type it.) Cooking is the only household chore I tolerate well. I've been to China.

For boring professional stuff, I want to maybe be a professor if I can but it's a pretty hard gig to get. Luckily I am in a field that is pretty flexible, so I can imagine myself ending up in a variety of different career situations. I like doing research and clinical stuff with LGBT populations.
