I am an aspiring psychologist in the field of Social/Personality. I graduated from Ball State University in the spring of 2011 with a bachelors in Psychological Science. I am currently studying for my Master's in Cognitive and Social Processes. I have always been considered a "people" person. I love people and find them infinitely interesting. I found that psychology was the logical field to study as an undergraduate and beyond. Empirical research is a passion of mine. I am working on research in the area of personality aspects involved with cell phone usage. My undergraduate thesis involved a linguistic analysis of text language as a function of personality. I am continuing research with Dr. Thomas Holtgraves on different aspects of cell phone use and personality. I also work as a research assistant for a professor in the Technology department, Dr. Hua.

Before entering my undergraduate work I played in a punk/hardcore band called In The Face of War. I was able to tour the country and record a three albums with the band from 2000 to 2004. I decided to retire from the rock and roll world to go to college. The band continued without me until May of 2011. The band performed a final show that I was involved in. Below is a link for a song from that final show.
